Our Story
'Kompang Warisan Melayu Singapura' has been with since 2014. The group has been established by close families, relatives comprising of 3 members with the same interest which is to promote Malay Arts Culture in the community. Founding members, Khairul Asraf, Amirul Mustakim and Nurfarini Mazlan started together with 5 other boys to form up .
In 2011, initially known as 'Seni Warisan Melayu' whom was based at Joo Chiat CC and thus reformed, the present 'Kompang Warisan Melayu SIngapura'. Over the years, 'Kompang Warisan Melayu Singapura' have achieved a lot of recognition by popular production and event companies. Highlights of the group include performing at Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple, at Ceylon Road for National Day celebration, Mediacorp Channel and Hari Raya Haji neighbouorhood performance at Bedok Interchange.
